I'm trying to batch process some notification emails sent to a specific user. When sending the emails, it can either be successful or fail (with custom errors). When a fail occurs I want to store it in the db for later processing. What I'm trying to do is: Check in queue if email was sent If it was send successfully add to DB If it was sent successfully and failed for some reason, queue it for later At the moment I'm trying to accomplish that with a job class. The problem is that in my function() {} I'm using the queue as a lock. I need the queue to wait until the process is done to process the emails. If I add an exception after the DB commit, the queue won't lock. If I remove the lock, the emails will go into the DB before the queue locks them. Any thoughts on how I ac619d1d87
